Getting serious about paintball? Organizing weekend games might not be doing the trick any more and if you are like tons of paintball enthusiasts out there then it could be time to bring your game to a whole new level. What are your options? You can start a local contest or register a paintball organization. But if you really want to take things beyond just play then perhaps it’s time you join a professional league. NPPL paintball or the National Professional Paintball League has changed into one of the most premiere leagues in paintball. The league has been growing exponentially and enticing thousands of players from all over the country. This is probably the best location for you and your mates to strut your stuff so as to speak.
NPPL paintball is one the two largest organized paintball competitions that travel across America every year. It is the most famed and largest seven-man paintball competition in America. It holds five main paintball events every year and opens t registration to all paintball enthusiasts of all levels and ages. There is only one restricted division though that is precisely for professionals which are great as it controls the contest to a certain degree. The contest also does ranking pushing bottom three participating teams to semi-professional status and promoting the top three groups to professional status.
The NPPL paintball tournament attracts players not only because of the cash prize but also the chance of climbing up the tiers into higher ranks until becoming certified professionals. The competitions ranking scheme is descending and are as follows:

Players are sorted out in these divisions to make sure that skills are matched proportionally and scenarios like professional teams being competing against amateur groups will not happen. The regular NPPL season usually starts around March and finishes on October with games being played every month.
The NPPL paintball contest field is regulated at the standard of 180 feet length and one hundred feet width. Each side has mirroring layouts of inflatable bunkers and obstacles. Each team side has a start box with the team flag which both 7 man team will consider their home base. Rules smart it just about matches the standard capture-the-flag paintball game rule set, the main twist is that there is a referee who controls the entire event.
